VOLUNTEER

Internships provide valuable hands-on experience that allows you to put what you’ve learned into practice while gaining insight into the field of education.

Opportunity

Make a difference in a child’s life while gaining valuable hands-on experience in education. Whether you’re completing internship or community service hours, tutoring with us gives you the opportunity to build meaningful skills, connect with students, and give back to your community while working with a schedule that fits your needs.

Requirements

To become a tutor, you’ll need to complete an application, attend a required orientation, submit the CCISD Volunteer Clearance Form, and commit to your proposed tutoring hours and schedule.

Expectations

Tutors are expected to assess each student’s needs and choose appropriate activities and lessons to support their learning. We value patience, professionalism, and reliability, along with a positive and encouraging attitude when working with students.
