E.C.F.'s After School Tutoring Program is offered
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from
3:00pm-6:00pm at Zavala Elementary School.
Students will receive their own private, educated tutor to work with them one-on-one and in small study groups on assigned classwork, areas they may be struggling in, and test preparation.
Tutors will work with students' teachers to ensure they are getting the most out of E.C.F.'s After School Tutoring Program.
All tutors are early education majors at either Del Mar College or Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
Educating Children's Future Community Center's After School Tutoring Program is reserved for
K-5 students enrolled in Corpus Christi Independent School District ONLY.
What this Program Includes:
Every student enrolled in the E.C.F. After School Tutoring Program is given their very own educated tutor from either Del Mar College or Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi. Their tutors are early education interns dedicated to helping these students while gaining invaluable experience and corresponding with students' teachers.
Tutors work with students either one on one or in small study groups every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at Zavala Elementary School from 3:00PM-6:00PM. Students will receive two snacks and juice at the beginning and end of each tutoring session. Tutors and students work together on the following and student progress is analyzed daily.
